Soft gel nail extensions are made from the same type of gel that gel polish is made of. They also add length to your nails just like regular press-on nails. Plus they are as strong and as long lasting as regular acrylics.
Thankfully, soft gel nail extensions have a good track record of being durable and able to withstand everyday wear and tear.
When done professionally, they can last up to four weeks – but this of course also depends on the lifestyle of your client. If they lead a very hands on, active lifestyle then naturally their nail extensions will have a shorter lifespan.
HOW TO APPL SOFT GEL PRESS ON NAILS:
Prepare your nails: Remove old nail polish and art, trim and shape your nails, and buff the surface.
Apply primer: Apply tip primer to your natural nails.
Apply adhesive: Apply a generous amount of soft gel tip adhesive to the underside of the soft gel tip.
Apply the nail: Place the soft gel tip onto your nail, starting at the cuticle and rolling it on to avoid bubbles. Ensure a close fit and that the nail grooves are covered.
Cure: Flash cure for a few seconds to maintain the seal.
Repeat: Repeat steps 1–5 for each nail.
Cure all nails: Cure all five fingers for about a minute.
DO NOT USE REGULAR GLUE OR TAPE , MUST USE GEL ADHESIVE AND UV LAMP TO CURE.
